When sourcing the fibre for Ronas we looked to the Shetland Isles, and have collaborated with Uradale Yarns to produce a truly Native Shetland yarn.

Ronas excels in textured stitches as well as lace work, and can produce a beautifully even fabric in a plain stockinette, which allows the deeply heathered shades to show though.

From sheep to skein, Ronas only has two things added - a gentle detergent, and a light spinning oil.
Both of these are washed out in the final rinse, so these yarns are about as pure as they come.
For us, there's simply no better reflection of the landscape that surrounds us than pure organic wool.
