    If you've been here for a while, you'll know that the launch of Preseli last summer was actually the second launch of Preseli we've had. The original blend was a little different, and the last few skeins are in the moving sale today.

    Perfect for socks, shawls and sweaters, Preseli is our most versatile yarn.

    Our Polwarth comes from Dunbar Island, part of the Falkland Islands, famed for the snow white superfine fleece. These sheep produce a long, smooth fibre that has excellent stitch definition and soaks up dye like a sponge.

    The Polwarth is lifted by some Romney, sourced from a flock in Wiltshire. We chose this lustrous longwool to add structure and some complexity to the blend.


    A note about Turin: There's some variation in the twist, where the marl isn't constant throughout, so we recommend alternating skeins to avoid too much pooling.

    A note about Sandcastle: Some of these skeins have one or two small marks on them from the dyehouse, so please bear that in mind when buying.
