Warm and cosy, Number 5 is the Chunky member of the yarn family. The stunning natural shades are achieved by carefully blending undyed fibre to achieve the heathery depth that's synonymous with these classic neutral shades.
Number 5 is a quick knit, perfect for hats, cowls and jumpers - they also make fantastic slipper/house socks!
Sally finished knitting up these lovely socks in Number 5 this morning, using a super simple vanilla sock pattern using up ends of a few shades. They weighed in at around 120g for the pair in a UK size 6 (EU 39).
Number 6 rounds off the Garthenor yarn family as its Super Chunky sister. Beautifully lofty and pillowy, these 100g skeins are a treat for quick knitters. They're a delight for last minute Christmas gift knitting.
Like Number 5, this one is totally undyed, and there's a delightful range of breeds to choose from, including a handful of Ryeland shades from our own flock of teddy bears here on the farm!
